We met lots of staff that day, and they were all very kind and concerned. We met a lot of residents who all were very happy. They don't worry about being exquisite. There were people gathered down in the main lobby just chatting.

Head to Carter Park alongside the Little Miami River to enjoy walking... Staff turnover rate is extremely high. Additional fees are added on for some activities (we were told it's all included).
The medication administration has been terrible! The community needs to improve the medication administration system. I would only recommend this community if your loved one is truly fairly independent. We were very appreciative of everything the community prepared for my loved one. My loved one had a very short stay here.

My parents stayed in Cottingham Retirement Community for almost 12 months. I would recommend this place for assisted living. They also had a choice of meal 3 times a day. Their nursing care was pretty good and they were also friendly.
The location is fine, but it wasn't very homey. My mom likes homey stuff but this place wasn't very cozy. They have assisted living as well as memory care. The rooms in the memory care section were more like something in a nursing home.

It's less than a mile from my house, it's very clean, and it's been newly updated decor-wise. If I had any complaints at all, it's that the apartments were a little bit small. The people were lovely, the activities were good, and the size of the building was excellent for my mother.

They have housekeeping once a week that will come in and clean. It's all part of what you pay for your rent, so it's very inclusive. He's very happy, and we feel that he's in a safe place. The only thing I could say that's negative is that my brother is a vegetarian, and they don't have many vegetarian entrees, and so he is not very happy about that.

Our family had an in person tour and we just did not really get a overall warm welcoming feeling to it. We did not think that was going to be a good fit for our loved one.
